Humanitarian soccer tournament “Knowledge through Ball” (19.10.2013.)
On Saturday, the 19th October,Rotaract Club Belgrade Dedinje organized a humanitarian soccer tournament “Knowledge through Ball”. The matches were played on the courts of Brazil-Arc sports center. Eighth teams took part, five of which were Rotaract team. The aim of the event was to collect books which will be donated to those who need them the most. This activity was supported by all Rotaract clubs from Belgrade, as well as representatives of the club from Zrenjanin. The fans contributed to the exciment of the already tense and interesting games.
In the field, a positive atmosphere was spreading, sportsmanship and at most the feeling of great satisfaction over the success of the humanitarian goal. After several successful challenges, the first place went to “Vukelic & Friends”, followed by sequence : RTC Zrenjanin, Konjevići, RTC Belgrade Center, RTC Belgrade, RTC Belgrade Dedinje, Faculty of Computer Science (RAF) and RTC Belgrade Sava. The tournament players were awarded prizes for participating in this sport event, as usual champagne cork flew into the sky and marked the end of another successful activity of Rotaract Club Belgrade Dedinje.
