110 years of Rotary (2/21/2015)
On february 21. at the Crystal Ballroom of hotel Hyatt a special Gala dinner was held. The occasion was 110 years of Rotary, 85 years since the establishment of Rotary in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and 25 years of re-establishment in Serbia and the region. The Gala evening brought together members of Rotary and Rotaract clubs, including members of our club. In addition to the celebration of three jubilees, the goal was the start of a donation that will by the end of year 2015, reach the amount of more than $100,000 for the restoration of three schools in Obrenovac. Schools will receive IT equipment for both the students and the teachers. The atmosphere wasa complemented by an auction and raffle, accompanied by a great orchestra.
